Pass-it-On: RV-7A exterior painting with AkzoNobel

Guys,
Wanted to share my experience painting an RV-7A.

Paint system selection: AkzoNobel Aerodur (no much selection of aviation coatings in this part of the world)

Surface pre-treatment: Metaflex SP 1050 - 1.5 Gal used
Filler: Polystop LP - less than 50g used
Epoxy primer: Aerodur HS 2118 CF Primer, Curing Solution CS6035, Activator A9190, Thinner C 25/90 S - 1 Gal used
Base coat: Aerodur 3001 (yellow - 3.5 liters, gray - 2.5 liters, dark gray - 1 liter), Curling CS6000, Activator A9002 - 2 Gal used in total
Clear coat: Aerodur 3002, Curing CS6003, Activator A9052 - 2.2 Gal used in total

I've painted it in a inflatable paint booth, so no perfect conditions. Used the 3M™ Performance Spray Gun system. Had multiple issues with the clear coat, and switching to isopropyl alcohol as an universal cleaner helped a lot. But to get a perfect finish some sanding, buffing and polishing was needed.
