In the photo, is this VA-140 and/or R-1006?

There were two in my RV10 empennage kit, where does the other one get used? It seems to short to be used for trim and elevator.

Yes VA-140 is cut into a R-1006. The elevator(s) gets the other one. The trim tabs don't use it (they are folded).2025-05-05_21-54-13.jpg
