Panel Color vs 402 bulkhead

Comes down to preference, I know.

For those that have a different color panel versus the surrounding interior. Anyone paint the 402 bulkhead (top part left and right of panel) to match the panel? Don’t recall any such pictures. In my mind’s eye, it would be a better finished look.

Anybody got pix of such? Much thx.

It did Cerakote C series on the entire cockpit. Had the panel initially Cerakoted but it didn't work out so well when the avionics shop went to Lazer engrave it so painted it to match

Love Cerakote but decided against painting any aircraft structure with it. It can only be mechanically removed. Even the commercial grade strippers with a good dose of methylene chloride wouldn't touch it. Most other top coatings won't adhere to it. I have used it on parts that are removable.

Great product. Cheap and time saving when you consider; no conversion coating, no priming required, no mixing so limited waste, more.

I played with it a lot. Super easy to spray and get a good finish. Ultimately, I looked at that 025 exterior skin that would be heck to replace and went another way.
