My Tiger is in the Grumman gallery, and at least 3 of the RV6As in the Experimental gallery have visited me at 57AZ...
Steve likes the owners to disassemble their RVs ready for paint... so all of the control surfaces are removed before paint. I also did this on my Tiger.. something the factory did not do...

Williams Aircraft Paint in Burns, Oregon does a great job and is very reasonable. He will schedule your airplane and have it done within two weeks. He does remove all control surfaces and paints all the pieces separately including cowl and all inspection panels. He might still be busy with all the Columbia airplanes that were in the hailstorm. He is one of the shops refinishing them. Don
