I'm working on my left flap, specifically page 21-10 step 3. I've measured the twist as instructed and it comes out to 0.7 degrees. I'm not sure if that's acceptable, but if it's possible to improve it, I'd like to try. But the instructions don't tell you how to do that.
I'm not sure how best to clamp the flap down, or where (or how) to apply force to remove the twist. Any advice?
This was much easier with the ailerons, as the spar stuck out beyond the nose skin. I could clamp one end of the spar to the workbench and grab the other end with pliers to twist. But everything is much more flush on the flap and it's not obvious how to proceed.
