P51/T6 style tow bar

Looking for info on P51/T6 style tow bar for an RV4. Specifically interested on how it would attach to the inside of the main gear through the wheel pants.

I'm guessing he has a flat plate with a hole in it attached to the inside of the axle that protrudes through the wheel pant. We use a similar tow bar on the air tractor. BTW that x brace is not necessary.

I believe they have spring loaded fingers that connect to a tie down ring that is either part of the axle or a fixed point on the MLG strut.

I wonder if you could use something like SkyDesigns gear leg jack points and come up with a ring/bolt set up that screwed into it for towing.
