Other Experimentals section?

Curious if any thought has been given to opening a section on Other Experimentals? I read the rules and it says RVs only, and I love me some RV (but).....

We have alot of experience on this forum, and it seems like the most robust community. Would be nice to pick the brains of those willing to dive into a subsection on building other metal airplanes? A bridge too far?

Holy cow Doug, did you hand-write that response just to show off? That's some 1977 third grade "Scary Mrs. Henderson" level expert cursive right there!
All us who attended Parochial school have to learn cursive, you should (or should not) see my left handed hen-scratching...:D

And I just realized, reading these comments, that I just read your note, not really 'realizing' it was written in cursive!   Some of us don't have to have an interpreter! Makes me wonder how many people could not read what you wrote??:oops:. My pickup is also a 5 speed stick shift!😄

And there was no alternative. Failure meant disappointing Sister Mary, your parents, the parish priest, and God Himself.

Pretty sure Lucifer failed cursive, and that was the final straw...
Dan's response was pretty funny. I went to Parochial school also, and failure was not an option, at least not in Sister Catherine’s class! 😱

I'd settle for a separate subforum in the avionics area *just for Garmin stuff*. The ratio of Garmin-related posts to everything else (Dynon, GRT, Avidyne, whatever) is about 10:1, and wading through them to find stuff related to my non-Garmin items is a PITA.

Same. Didn't even phase me.
I have been asked by "kids" in the recent past to translate cursive for them.

Quick story:
I was an Air Force brat and was in NH for 2nd grade. NH started teaching cursive in the third grade. Right before starting 3rd grade, we moved to Ohio and they teach cursive in 2nd grade. So on one of the first days of school the nun (went to catholic school for this grade only) asked us to write something in cursive. I was confused...I don't know cursive yet! I sat there freaking out when I realized the letters were all on a banner around the room near the ceiling (remember those). I must have made something totally awful, not knowing how to connect them because my teacher called my parents who I'm sure explained the situation. I had to go to afterschool cursive tutoring for a few months to get caught up.
