Other winners of special note: Carlo Cilliiers, the absolutely brilliant South African who answers the phone at AOPA when you have an aeronautical question, won a Bronze Lindy for his Bearhawk Patrol, the highest ranking of the Bronze Lindys. He previously won an award for his Hatz; and the Grand Champion Plans Built was a Thorp T-18.
