Once Again, TS Flightlines Comes Through!

How many times can I post good things about Tom Swearingen and the gang at TS Flightlines? I sent him a note on Sunday night asking if he could make me a bit longer line for my O2 fill station (I have built-in oxygen in both my jet and the Rocket, but the existing line from my cascade isn’t long enough for the Rocket). I said I did’t expect him to do one “Oxygen Clean”, but I learned how to do that in a previous life when I was in the divign industry (working my way through college) and built air and O2 fill systems), so would take care of that. He’s in the Carolinas. I’m in Nevada. The new hose showed up this morning (Wednesday). And while I sometimes think Tom is just sitting there at his hose machine waiting for me to call, I know that he does that kind of service for pretty much all his customers. If you need a special hose - give him a call!

We all need to wish Tom a long life because our industry would be far poorer without guys like him!

They are truly special people. They make you feel unique (I bought a Behringer wheel from them and picked it up in Oshkosh 24). I can't wait to order my fuel lines.

So true. I just ordered my last few hoses a couple of weeks ago, and I swear they arrived before I finished filling out the order form. Speed on its own is awesome, but Tom's willingness to answer my rookie questions is what I appreciate even more. We all know that Van's instructions get a touch "spotty" once you get FWF or are dealing with systems, and unfortunately that's also an area that many people who are new to this haven't messed with before. Tom is always incredibly supportive and willing to give suggestions to help get a project in the air.

If only Tom was in charge of customer service at Vans...
GUYS----there is no 'I" in team, and we are a team. Steve, handles the OEM stuff, logistics, alot of kits, and MUCH more personable than I am. Cory and Cody handle the assembly stuff, and do an excellent job. Me---well, Ive been accused of working from time to time. To borrow a line from Bruce Willis, i just sit around and think stuff up. I do prototypes, design hose ends, and fun stuff. Together, we all have a fun, helping others achieving their goals of building their own planes. All of you made this happen for us, and we are just working hard to keep things going, by helping all of you. Come visit us at OSHKOSH booths 947-949 in the Ultralight area. Tom

Tom, all I'll say is that you're "old school" when it comes to customer relations, product quality and just plain making sure your customer has been cared for...I KNOW this attitude has cost you money, but when it comes to hoses and everything else you sell, I don't even consider going anywhere else! You da man! :)

I ordered 2 x -8 firesleeved oil hoses on the 19th of May. They were delivered to my door 25 May. That’s only 6 days order to door. Pretty amazing.

Oh, another little detail - *I AM IN AUSTRALIA!*

FYI, even with shipping these were 2/3 the cost of local vendors - and probably faster.

I had an amazing experience working with Steve this winter ordering custom oil and fuel lines for my Rotax. He was very patient walking me through the process and always available to answer my rookie questions. It's very refreshing to do business with a company that has old school customer service!

What could be more satisfying as a business owner or employee than reading reviews like this? And yes… I’m inclined to agree with you all. Great business to deal with!

Ironflight,
So true. Keep heaping the deserved praise on TS.
He made an oil line for me last week, and I marveled at the beauty of it.
Most folks just see a pretty orange covered hose, yet, I examined it for the craftsmanship before I installed it yesterday.

Tom is the best of the best. He took my call and helped me for 1.5 hours over the phone after my off airport forced landing to help diagnose things. This man is simply incredible.
