Oil Pressure jumping around

I am assuming this is an indication issue, but has anyone seen anything like this and it really was the actual engine oil pressure jumping around?



I've always had some jumpiness but it seems like it's increasing. From time to time it's solid. Replacing the sensor is on the list of things to try, but thought I'd check if there is a known reason that the engine oil pressure might be jumping around like this. I'm running Aeroshell W100 Plus. Thanks for any tips.

Perhaps check your crimps or re-crimp the connections.

I had a similar problem with my oil temp sensor. I re-crimped and the problem went away for a while. When it returned, I just replaced the sensor and used butt splices. Problem has not returned.
