Oil pressure engine off ?

Hi , I have a standard Vans oil pressure gauge on my O 320 RV 6 it is showing about 10 psi
with master on , engine not running ? When I turn master off it goes back to zero. Anyone had this happen ? Or any ideas ?

Yes I recently had exactly the same thing happen. Replaced the sending unit and all was well. Pretty cheap for an “airplane part,” too—thank you once again, boating industry.

That is the ONLY gauge that I must have a backup for.....
It is the only gauge that can cause you to do a cautionary landing when not needed.
