Oil cooler interference with the exhaust spring

I'm mounting my radiator-oil cooler assembly onto the engine of my RV12is. One of the fittings of the oil cooler is interfering with the exhaust hanger spring. I couldn't find mention of this in the plans.

I have completed the SB-00088 modification with the FF-01249 bracket joining the radiator and oil cooler.
I received the backordered radiator November 4, 2025. I don't have the part number handy anymore.
The radiator did not have the flanges shown in Figure 3 of the bulletin.

Am I supposed to remove the interfering spring after tightening everything? Or do I perhaps
have the wrong combination of radiator version and brackets, or am doing something else wrong?

Hard to tell without seeing your installation but I can tell you that I competed SB00088 with the new radiator and this wasn't an issue.
Perhaps you need to reposition your muffler per KAI section 48.
