Oil cooler box install timing (VA-186)

I am in the middle of the firewall section and wondering why I should wait until the firewall forward section to install the oil cooler box? Have you found that delayed timing to be an advantage or a bit of a pain?

I installed my oil cooler box when I was working on the firewall and I don't remember of any issues from doing it early. It would have been a bit harder to install it when the plans have you install it.
