Nut plates on firewall section 27

Working on the firewall section 27 of my RV10 build. It calls for 2 K1000-4 on part F1001-M which according to my inventory are in bag 1379. Bag 1379 has K1000-3 and K1000-4 neither of which fit on the nut plate spots. The hole spacing is too big. See pics attached. Am I missing something on this step?

The nut plate in the pic looks like an 8-32, maybe a 6-32. The hole in the part should be 1/4. You can clearly see that is not a 1/4" nutplate.

Section 5 General Information page 5-32 there is full size drawings of nutplates. You can match them there to find the correct size

I forgot about that section. Looks like what I have left in that bag is K1000-06 and K1000-3. I don’t see any K1000-4 in any other bags of nut plates. Looks like a part order.

For whatever reason Van’s does not put like items in bags (like nutplates). Look around the fuselage kit bags you will find these 1/4” bolt nutplates.
