When hoisting the engine up to provide clearance for removing the lower rubber vibration dampeners, is it necessary to loosen the nuts in the top engine mount so that the engine can rotate slightly?

I did not need to when I replaced mine

Thanks JFC.
I guess there is enough flex in the top rubber vibration absorbers to allow enough engine movement at the lower mount.
