Newbie needs CFI near KCMA

I'm New Here
The title says it all. I am buying an RV6a, and need a checkout and some training from a CFI with lots of patience, and knowledge of Vans aircraft. I am a 1300 hour IFR rated pilot with only a couple hours in an RV10, and none in the 6a, so I want to learn all I can. Please email me people in the Camarillo-Oxnard-Santa Paula areas. Thanks. ....and what Son failed to mention is that he built and flew an RV-6A before his RV-10 :D He's great to fly with so check in with him! Rosie
 
Hey Paul,

Make sure John gets all the help he needs. I'm pretty sure this is John Furey's old RV6A. It is a Very Very nice airplane and very capable....pretty sure you saw it during one of your visits out here.
