New RV-10 cowl

Does anyone have the new cowl as discussed in the September KitPlanes? I’d like to copy the bottom cowl split on my James cowl.

I’ve actually thought about modding mine like that. I have a Rod Bowers setup so I have a removable scoop. I would just have to glass a flange on and split it accordingly.

That looks like what I want to do. I’m using a Cold Air Sump engine on this install and being able to mount the air filter with half the cowl off would make things a lot easier.

Any photos of the inside or how you made the seam?
