Gearman and I have finally gotten the radio to work after finding that we had received a faulty harness from Vans which had pins in the wrong holes.
I can now hear on the intercom and can received on the radio but I have two new mystery noises:
When I transmit on the radio I hear a rather loud static/background noise around my own voice
When I switch on the navigation or navigation/strobe lights while I am in the air I hear the same loud noise - until - I am landing and am about 10 feet off of the runway.
It is a pretty loud noise and it is pretty obnoxious.
Can anyone give me any help?
