Aren’t the 450/470 just the small 7” versions?

Yup, the GDU 470 is just the 7" Portrait version

I don’t think this is anything too exciting as yet. Not sure what the additional part numbers for the 7” mean.
I’ll get exited when they add a GDU 7XX

Not uncommon for them to add additional part numbers or model variations when component changes force a minor design change... several other LRUs have already gone through the same evolution.
