New Engine Day!

My Titan io370 was delivered on Friday!
Continental was very easy to work with and they mostly kept to their 14 month lead time when I ordered.
The delay was with the Pmags. They were having a hard time getting them from Hartzell so the Titan rep Vadim called me and said the engine was done, just waiting on mags and chose to just get them retail to get my engine out the door.
FedEx freight only took 2 days to get from AL to NM for $500ish bucks.
I was told they are also down to a 12 month lead time at the worst. They have plenty of cases, cranks and other stuff ready to go.

Very happy with how this all came out.
Sadly it has to sit in the corner of the garage for a few months while I finish up the avionics and do the canopy work.

Congrats on the new Titan IO-370!Sounds like Continental and Titan did a great job keeping you updated and getting it out the door despite the PMAG delay. A 14 month lead time actually being close to accurate is pretty impressive these days, and it’s good to hear they’re getting that down closer to 12 months.
Having the engine sitting there waiting while you finish the avionics and canopy work must be tough, but it’s also a great milestone. Nothing motivates a project like having the heart of the airplane sitting in the garage.
Hope the rest of the build goes smoothly looking forward to seeing it come together
