Need Help - Rotax 912 flywheel hub removal

Just looking for confirmation on flywheel hub removal. Document says remove hex nut, lock washer and washer. Is this standard counter clockwise to remove? torque states 33 foot pounds to tighten and I tried over 100 pounds to remove counter clockwise. Can anyone confirm this is standard removal? I'm suspecting either corrosion of previous maintenance used loctite. Any response really appreciated.

The torque states 33 ft/lbs + 180 Degree rotation. The manual is very good about alerting of left hand threads such as the sprag clutch collar nut and the crankshaft drive gear hex nut at the propeller gearbox. It has been a few years since I did this but I followed the manual and had no problems.
