Need a 12 iS panel picture

Could someone please post a wide picture of their RV-12iS with the Garmin avionics ((including autopilot head)) package? And then a second one showing the fuses?

In anticipation of starting recurrent/transition training after 8 years away from flying, I'm trying to develop muscle memory with the emergency checklists and do a bunch of chair flying (there's nothing else to do in MN in another snowless winter)

I'd go out to the hangar to take one myself but it's -13 overnight and I'm not touching the canopy.

Thanks

First photo doesn't show the panel as nicely as I'd like -- and doesn't show the watch fastened there as my clock ("Grandpa what is that thing?" my 8-year-old grandson asked).

I know a couple of good RV-12 CFIs in your area; if you're interested in their contact info, send me a PM.

Perfect. Thank you.

I'm going to do transition and recurrent with Matt Both at KSGS since I'm on the field there.

I realize I'm a few days late and you've got some good pictures already... But just in case you want one without the IFR option, here's one more.

P.S. Am I the only one who has this much color variation between the different sections of their panel? Really makes me wish I didn't spend the extra money for the powder coating.

I would not accept that from Van's. Suggest you get them to fix it. That option is a premium price already and for them to not match is not cool.

I was thinking the same thing. I got the PC panel, would not have accepted that. I'm planning to replace my center panel and talked with Van's about getting a PC blank so it would match. It was explained to me that the colors are not very consistent, and they don't sell it because of the slim chance of getting a good match. It would be dumb if they were breaking up batches and mixing the inventory, so hopefully this is a one off mistake and they will take care of it for you.

Here’s mine. Just installed (temporarily) yesterday. Yours looks like two different lots of PC.

Definitely multiple lots. When I received my kit, the center panel was backordered. I didn't receive it until several months later.

I had contacted Van's about this previously. Was told this variation was normal and there wasn't much they could do. At the time I was just happy to have anything. When others were losing thousands of dollars in deposits, my mis-matched colors seemed trivial.

Fantastic. Thank you. Gosh, if you had a little bit of epoxy dripping down over the RV-12iS logo, it could be mine. :*)
