Looking for a 3D print file to create a router template for NACA vents. See the picture attached. I made one out of plywood but I'm not satisfied with the accuracy of the curves. Any help would be appreciated!
Check out this 3D file from Thingverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2590654 The flange should give the correct offset for the router bit/collar you are using. I used it to print a couple of different size vents (using the scale function on the slicer software to adjust size) and ended up using the print as a vacuum bagging mold for the glass version that was bonded to the cowling.

You are going to end up with round corners; I presume the bit width is less than the narrowest part of the duct. You can print just the first few layers where the flange portion is and you will end up with a nice template for the opening. I used an oscillating saw to make my cuts to a template line, very easy to control with a nice finish.
