Two filters
Hi Kent,
Yes, two filters, one 1-1/2” dia FWF post pump and one 2”dia FWA pre pump. Both are manufactured by SDS, both 40 micron.
The 1-1/2 dia one is actually a little under 1-1/2” and a DG Adel clamp is loose on it, red silicone tape will fill the gap but I purchased WDG Adel clamps which grip it tightly, it’s not the wedge that does it, the rubber is thicker. I’ll double-check whether this applies to the 2” dia filter as well but in any case I don’t know yet whether I will be using Adel clamps on that one.
I have an earlier version of the SDS pump module with an integral sintered filter that I removed. It’s after the pre pump filter but it still feels like a booby trap to me.
