Moving project on Flatbed tow truck?

I’ve been researching methods to move a 6 that is on gear. No wings/empennage. Just fuse on gear.

Some of the reading I’ve done said not to tow it on a trailer with the tailwheel on the trailer, but to lift it to keep from destroying the stinger bulkhead.

I only need to go ~6 miles.

Would letting the tailwheel ride on a flatbed tow truck have the same possible effect on the bulkhead?

You need something to substitute for the vertical stab spar - that bolts to the rear bulkhead and the tailwheel weld ent, and if you don’t have the VS installed, you’ll bend things If there is weight on the tailwheel! Either support the rear fuselage in a cradle, install the VS, or make a plate to substitute for it.
