I have seen some pretty cool hangers but this is not a hanger, it is a church. My wife and I took the bikes up to Jackson Hole for the night with some friends and on the way back stopped at Alpine Airport. This is one of coolest community airports around. We met up with the builder for the area and he gave us a tour. At the end of the tour he took us by the gentlemen?s house that bought the airport and made it what it is today. He has an amazing home but the hanger is incredible. He said the beams were laminated right there by Indians (don't know if this is true or just makes the story better). It was originally built by the founder of Simpson Racing seatbelts. The current owner is also a Husky distributor. This is a public airport. If your in the area make sure you stop by and check it out.
