MiniMax Tow Pins

I am working with another RVer at my field to design our own power tug to push the plane up ramp into the hangar. I was looking at the "MiniMax Tow Pins" that increase the engagement depth on the front nose wheel pins.


I am not understanding if these are used with the U-1024 standoffs or if the standoffs are removed? https://www.minimaxtugs.com/product-p/rvtowpins.htm

Anyone with experience using these pins or other methods to give a bit more engagement on the front nose wheel pins ?

This replaces the factory supplied parts for the tow bar attachment. The bolts are longer as are the spacers. They give you 1? of attachment engagement instead of the approximate 1/2? that can have a tendency to slip off. I built a power tug from a snowblower.
