measuring axle alignment

i just mounted my landing gear and are a little unclear on how to check on axle alignment . i put a block of wood on each axle and ran a string between them.

once i figured out how to do it currently everything was fine!

Those cheap laser levels that shoot a beam of red light are handy, too. You can drop a plumb bob from...say...the tail and project a red laser line on the floor to measure the alignment of the axles or wheels.
