Mandatory TBO @2000 for Rotax 912is?

SLSA...don't have an airworthiness limitation section in manual specifically calling out mandatory TBO. Thoughts? Extensions? Would like to keep running it, but don't want to get into trouble with the law...I mean the insurance company.

Even certificated planes don't need to abide by the TBO; unless they're involved in part 135 ops.
