Mag gear timing mark

Guys,

I can't find the timing mark on my Mag gears for my IO540.

My extremely current Lycoming Overhaul Manual(circa 1974) claims:

7-103. Note that the magneto gears shown in figure
2-8 are marked with a circle on one tooth. This tooth
must mesh between the two circles etched on adjacent
teeth of the larger diameter gear of the crankshaft
idler gears.

Thankfully figure 2-8 shows the gear as a round circle with a dot, great for concept not so great at showing the details.

Any hints on where those marks are located?

Thanks

Mine were VERY difficult to see & identify. Clean and look really good using a magnifier. YMMV. My engine is a 2001 IO-540V4A5.
