Lycoming O-320-E2D with RAM 160 STC and Electroair EIS-41000

Is anyone out there running the Lycoming O-320-E2D engine with RAM 160 STC and the Electroair EIS-41000 ignition system? My concern with this setup is the higher compression with the stock timing of 25° BTDC will increase the CHTs, and adding the EIS with electronic advance will also increase the CHTs.

For those running this setup, what CHTs are you seeing?

I’m running an 0-320 with 9.5:1 compression ratio pistons, your 160 hp is 8.5:1. I run dual Pmags with the base timing set at 25 btc. I have no issues at all managing CHT’s. If your cooling system is reasonably descent and it’s getting plenty of fuel, your setup should be fine.
