Lubricating tap when tapping plexiglass?

When installing the aft window in the RV-12iS, the instructions call for tapping the window and roll bar together. Is there any need to lubricate the tap when tapping the plexiglass window, or should it just be tapped dry? If lubricated, what lubricant should be used that won’t craze the plexiglass? Dish soap and water?

No need to lubricant.

I used dish soap and water. I don't think it really made a huge difference. I do think taping the exit side does make a huge difference
