Looking for RV-12 Flight Instructor in Southern California

Long story short - my partner and I have completed construction of our RV-12. My partner is a very experienced RV-8 builder and flyer will do the test flights on our 12. His insurance Company requires at least fire hours flight time with a Flight Instructor in a RV-12.
We are hoping to find an Instructor in the Southern California area. Please advise if you are a Flight Instructor who can give instruction in a RV-12 locally or can give me info leading to finding a Flight Instructor nearby. All information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am a flight instructor and RV12 owner based in SoCal at AGUA Dulce airport L70. I may be able to help you out depending on when and where . Let me know what you have in mind.

Hi.

Do u also train in Rv7A? I am at KWHP w my RV7A. If not, do you know of anyone who does? Greatly appreciate ur response. Thank you.

I only do training in the RV12. There was a CFI I used to train with in my RV6A years ago. I’ll try to dig around and try to find his number

I do not do training in my RV12. I said in a previous post that I might be able to help the guy out who needed some CFI dual time in an RV12 for insurance purposes , his RV12 not mine. Sorry for misunderstanding. I can do flight reviews in your RV12 or dual training in your RV12 for insurance . My RV12 is experimental so I cannot charge for its use..

Thanks for the explanation. I'll keep you in mind for dual and flight reviews when my 12iS gets completed.

DABNEY - sorry that this has taken so long to reply. We finally got signed off by the FAA after a lengthy problem solving effort caused by the fact that our 'factory tested 912ULS wouldn't run at all on the 'B' ignition. I no longer believe that the Rotax Company test runs all engines before sending them out for sale. My partner will be doing the test flights as per Vans and as soon as that is done - probably January?, I will contact you. Thanks , E. D. Eliot
