S SportAvServ Well Known Member Dec 12, 2008 #3 Thanks for the info Tony, but i would accept either one the gel coat (old) or the new pre-preg. Thought someone may have purchased someone elses cowl and would like to get rid of one of van's cowls. I have built RV's with both types of cowls, if it wasnt for the weight i prefer the gel coat cowl. Thanks, Randy

lhawkins Active Member Dec 15, 2008 #4 RV3 cowl I have two cowls and two sets of wing tips. Obviously I'm only going to use one of them. They are both gelcoat. I need to take a look at them and see for sure what type they are. Let me know if you are still interested I can get some photos sent. Larry
