Just spoke with Kevin at Vans Tech Support and he wanted folks to know that if you're worried about thread engagement and wish your existing rod end bearing was a touch longer—Vans sells rod end bearings that are the same in all respects, except 1/4" longer.
We talked about one rod end bearing in particular (mounting the elevator to the horizontal stab), so you may need to call the parts team to inquire about others.
