Levil Autopilot reviews?

I see almost zero discussion on the Levil autopilot. Looking for a simple autopilot solution for my 8 and this seems to fit. Almost all of the youtube is posted by the company. Looking for some user opinions/experiences. Thanks.

I traded notes with them last fall and they were going to send me a system to install and test … but they never did. As I understand it, this system is based on the Tru-Trak ECO that was developed but never really made it to market. I’m still waiting to have something to report.

I installed the SuperEco AP in my RV-6A. I believe it shares the same technology as the iLevil head unit but utilizes trim tabs vs. servos. I am very happy with mine.

Here are some videos about my experience:

My installation overview:

It's a clever design, I'm very impressed by it. However... I wonder how much aeroelasticity analysis and/or flutter testing they have done. Apparently it's fine for ultralights and LSAs, but is it safe at 200 knots?

How were your flights to & from OSH? Plenty of weather to test the AP in heavy turbulence... How'd it do? Considering installation on a Glasair.

I'm waiting for the new one that's wireless. Servos connect via Bluetooth or WiFi (not sure which) to the control head so you just install the servo tabs and the control head, program it and no wires to thread through the fuse. The servos power up and charge their battery with vanes like their BOMB. Definitely a game changer.

I hadn't seen this thread in a long time. I have one of the few wireless autopilots sent to BETA testers a few months ago and it's impressive. It's the same as the one in the video above but since it's wireless, you only have to install the servos on the aileron, elevator, and rudder, then they connect wireless to the main box installed behind your dash. Each servo has their own battery and miniature turbine fan that powers and charges the battery in flight. Genius !!

I sadly had back surgery the week I received the autopilot so I couldn't install it on my Wilga, and since I'm now selling the Wilga to concentrate on flying the T34a, the new owner will have to install it (in less than a day) and enjoy it.
