Left Side Throttle on IO360-A1A

Looking for ideas on how to mount the throttle cable to support attachment on the left side of the throttle body?

I am installing the FlyEFII System32 which has the control arm on the left side of the throttle body. The A1A sump has a boss on the bottom towards the right side to mount the throttle cable bracket.

The mounting boss for the throttle cable on the right side is circled in green. Another angled, vertical mounting boss is circled in blue.

Fabricate a bridge between the two sump bosses. It's just two small flat plates and a length of 1/2" square tube. Place the cable sheath attach point(s) on the bridge anywhere you please.

Sorry, best photo I can find. Requires welding, but easy to do.

Great idea, Dan. Thanks! I'm a competent welder, so that will be easy for me.

Jason, thinking about it this AM, I drew one end wrong. Update below. One bolt is threaded into a nut inside the end of the square tube. Weld it to the end plate, weld the plate to the tube. You'll figure it out.

Steel or aluminum?

Nevermind. If you're welding the nut to the plate, it must be steel.
