I reached out to Innovators West who made a batch of balancers 10 years ago, and asked them if they would be able to make another batch. They told me that if we can get at least 10 people to put up the money ($1250/ea+taxes) they would make another batch. I need one for my RV-3, that will have either a Sterba prop or a Performance Prop on it, with an O-320. Are there others out that that want one for their existing RV that either needs some weight up front or a damper/flywheel weight for their wood/composite props?
Please DM me if you are interested.

Thanks,
Aden

I have an original one that most of the liquid inside had dried out. All the original pieces if anyone is interested and can get the correct liquid medium?

Innovators West is a well-known company in the ground-bound racing community that makes harmonic balancers/dampeners for racing. I sent my Landoll balancer in for overhaul 4 years ago and they refurbished it for just over $200 with shipping. It may be more now. And they are in the middle of race season!

SuzieQ sports an O-320 with a magic Bernie Warnke prop and I would not fly without the Landoll! As I recall it adds about 12.5 pounds forward. Love the forward shift in W&B, smoothness of the prop/engine and that the prop doesn't 'slam' to a stop with engine shutdown. -4s can be a little tail-heavy and I put everything that had any weight to it forward. I have never run out of trim either nose up or down, even with passengers and baggage. That also has to do with the airplane being built straight..........:giggle:
