landing light issues with garmin gad 27

I have my RV-14 set up with a G3x and a Gad27 to control lights and flaps. on the ground the lights are constant, at 100kts they alternate flash, below 100kts they go back to constant, then they go off just above the runway! maybe they will flash a few times but remain off. i can recycle the switch on the ground and the lights will return to constant again.
anyone have any thoughts on this issue? Note* i have replaced the gad 27 with new but to no avail!

This is a configuration option -- see section 30.4.33 of the G3X Installation Manual, Revision AU. Screen grab attached:

Double check all the speed settings in G3X config mode. I can't think of any reason why or how the lights could be altitude dependent (i.e., go off just above the runway). Sorry can't be of more help. Are you at KDWH?

I think it has to be speed related for sure
