Landing light install timing

At the point on the wings where I put on the top skins on the wing. Wondering if I should put in the landing lights now - since that's an add on set of instructions, not sure if it's easier to do before putting on the top skins or just waiting until after installing top skins and doing it entirely though the hole.

Benefit is I can reach behind for any reason without the skin on, but if attaching that last skin changes the shape of the opening any, that would be trouble too...so just seeing what other folks have done.

I'm not sure of the exact sequence as I'm still waiting for my Wing kit to ship, but the video at the following link from another builder may shed some light:

My copy of the plans has this note on page 17-06, which implies you finish the skins and do the lights before you close out the end of the wing.
