I’m putting the landing gear mounts in my 7A. I’m not going to lie, it’s pretty miserable. After I finally got one installed and the bolts tightened up, I drilled one of the holes in the side skin that goes through the doubler plate and then the steel flange on the landing gear mount. I noticed that it’s short on edge distance on the gear mount by about 1/16 of an inch. As far as I can tell, there is no way to adjust this. The holes in the skins are predrilled so I’m guessing it just is what it is. I didn’t want to continue until I know for sure. Am I missing something?
