Landing Gear and Engine Mount support

I’m getting into Chapter 40A. The -14A has been on a rotisserie to this point, and now I’m wondering what the best means of support is for installing the engine mount and landing gear. (What ever if is I’d like it to be on wheels so I can reconfigure the shop as necessary). How high off the floor does it need to be?
Thanks.

I’m not quite there, but I got a hydraulic lift cart to use on my half rotisserie, so I was thinking it could be used for the big join and after the rotisserie comes off.

As I recall on the -10, we attached the engine mount, then used an engine hoist to lift the fuselage by the engine mount so we could attach the gear. That approach should work for any of the RV's.

I just put the main gear on while on the rotisserie. Then put blocks under the gear legs (no wheels on) and removed the forward rotisserie and installed the mount and nose gear.

Same as Larry except I put the wheels and brakes on and did all the frp. Note: If you’ve got the stock exhaust, stick the tailpipe in place before you mount the engine. PITA to do it after.
