Label Size and Font?

Any recommendations?

A lot of you have wonderful-looking panels with readable labels, so chime in - thanks!

Thinking of the number of points for the font, to describe the size....

I find...

I find Arial and Arial Bold the be quite readable...font size depends on location...

I redid some panels in my Cessna and during the research found that there is actually a mil spec for aircraft placard fonts! MS33558. Turns out calibri is pretty close.

+1 for Calibri. My panel labels were PowerPointed and ink jet printed on thinnest photo paper I could find. Cover with clear self-adhesive label stock, glue ‘em on. Won’t win any prizes but at least it’s not Comic Sans.

I went with Gill Sans for my panel labels. Found them to be readable and pleasant. Not flying yet.
