I spije to Greg Hughes of Vans yesterday at KOSH. Vans is now allowing finish kit deletions. This means after market wheels brakes, cowls, rudder pedals etc become economically feasible again.

That’s great news. Did he mention if they are offering this on already ordered but yet to be shipped kits?

I don't know about the RV-10 but the wheels, brakes and rudder pedals for the RV-14 come in the fuselage kit.

The RV-10 wheels and brakes are part of the Finish Kit (along with the landing gear); the rudder pedals come with the Fuselage

As of June 2023 from Vans in an email “The complete wheel and brake system, including master cylinders, will now be part of the Fuselage Kit shipment. The Finish Kit will no longer include wheels, brakes, and associated hardware.”
