So after Canopy is riveted in and fiber glassed over rivets etc. what if the canopy needed to be replaced??

You cut out the fiberglass and drill out the rivets. Been done lots of times.

fairing

i make all of my fairings removable, they are laid up over a taped off canopy with release wax then removed finished and installed with screws ,looks good when done

Did it with Sikaflex. Complete replacement. Piece of cake.
