J stringer questions

Ok I trimmed my first j stringer, it is listed on the plans as needing to be 88-7/16” long, but when I install it the overall length seems to be almost an inch too long. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal?

I don't recall cutting them to dimension. Seems like I cut them too long and trimmed to fit. I do remember cutting one perfectly and it was too short.
Shipping was more the part!

Is the end treatment on the J-channel correct?
Looks like you may have swapped left for right...or something...Check DWG 18 and 26 again for "notch" placement.

Thanks for the advice guys. I went and re-measured the piece, and guess who cut it 1 inch too long…. I will double check the end treatment. Thankfully if I buggered it I haven’t trimmed all of them and shouldn’t have to re-order
