Is there a Teflon alternative version of Fuel Pump Service Kit 889537 for 912iS

Not when I checked earlier this year. If you’re successful in developing one, please share.

There 'could be', however there are several hurdles to overcome. The biggest is sufficiently clamping the teflon hose to the pumps. braided teflon doesnt like to be clamped. Another obstacle is the OD of the beaded tubes on the pumps. Rubber hose will give and expand to go over the beads, where teflon is much stiffer and more resistant. You might get it to go over the beads, but the teflon liner doesnt want to contract to the tube OD, so you can make a clamp seal it. Lastly, the amount of clamping force required to make a seal, 'might' allow the beaded end to press through the liner wall, creating a leak. NO, we havent tried to come up with a way to do it. The rubber hoses are so short that there is very little space between the ends of the opposing tubes, so only a very short distance of the hose is exposed to fuel..

So not likely is what I am hearing.

Interesting Tom - makes me think of the PEX-A home water plumbing system with the cool motorized expander I used to remodel a bathroom recently.

Steve----getting the hose to fit isnt a real issue----its getting it SEALED. Rubber has a thicker wall, so it expands and contracts over the tube. Teflon doesnt contact like that. Clamping would be an issue-. If I had a pump to do some testing, Im reasonably certain I can come up with something. LOL----whether its practical and can be builder installed, well thats a question.
