HS1004-bending 9 degree angles

Page 8-7 of the plans says to bend two of the HS 1004 parts to a 9 degree angle. There are some general directions, how worried should I be about precision? How do I do this for precision?

IMO you can just approximate because the Clecos will hold it in the correct position later.

At some point I purchased a digital protractor which came in handy several times. You set it to 9 degrees and hold it against the rib and against the light, you can see whether it runs parallel.

Agreed a protractor will be needed quite a few times.
