HS-01231C-1 / HS-01231CB-1 final drill problem

I'm New Here
Hi there, I'm working on the -12iS Section 9 Stabilator.

On page 7, steps 3 pertain to the Hinge Gusset HS-01231C-1 and part of the hinge bracket assembly HS-01231B-1. I was confused by the instructions below, and #30 final-drilled all the holes within the dashed marks, both inboard and outboard.

Referring to previous threads and SB 18-02-02 (https://www.vansaircraft.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/sb18-02-02.pdf) it looks like only four of the holes should have been #30, and that I've made two of the inboard holes too large.

I can replace the C-1 easily because they're not installed, but the B-1 is pretty deeply integrated at this point and would require a lot of rework to replace. Does anyone know if it's essential that the two inboard #40 hole rivets are pop/AN470AD3-3.5, or could they be effectively replaced with the LP4-3 or AN470AD3-4's?

Thanks

This seems to be a common mistake. I recall the student project I'm working with doing the same thing, and they had to replace the parts, which, alas, is not a trivial job. If I recall correctly, they were told that the edge distance is insufficient for the larger rivets. I definitely would not replace a solid rivet with an LP4-3 at any rate, but if there's doubt, check with Van's support.
