How to Finish Door Strut Doubler Rivets?

What is a clean way to hide the six blind rivets for the door strut doubler near the door strut brackets?

The door strut bracket rivets will have to show but I've seen a couple of pics with the doubler rivets filled or covered over, looks nice to have them disappear.

Ideas? Things that have worked well?

I'v seen people covering the whole internal door with leather

I used CS4s and finessed with micro. Worked out well.
